Charming stay with a cozy atmosphere
The location was perfect, just a short walk from the Governor's Mansion, and the staff were super warm and cute, taking the time to help with any questions I had. The outdoor hot tub was a fantastic way to relax after a day of exploring. One area for improvement could be the shower design, as I found the pressure to be a bit low.

The private rainfall showers were a great luxury, and the cleanliness of the bathrooms was commendable. The outdoor hot tub provided an excellent way to unwind after a long day of work. The location was convenient, situated near multiple public transport options and dining spots.
Ladders to the top bunk lacked grip and felt unsafe.

The Ember Hostel impresses with its clean facilities and cozy vibe. Noise from rowdy guests can disrupt sleep. Most staff are friendly and helpful, but one interaction left something to be desired. A lovely place for socializing.

the staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were quiet and cozy, resulting in the best sleep I had during my trip. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the city with access to transportation options. The hostel provided various amenities such as complimentary hot tea and a laundry area on site. I had a fantastic experience at Ember and would highly recommend it.
The basement kitchen was a bit small for the number of guests, and there was only one refrigerator available. the outdoor patio was designated for 420 use, which limited access for non-smokers like myself.

Our stay at Ember was exceptional! Everything in the description was spot on. The beds were soft and comfortable, and the bathrooms were impeccable. The mansion was quaint and decorated with class. We were impressed by the provision of an ironing board, iron, and handheld steamer. The staff were friendly and the African American male at the front desk brightened our day every morning. The proximity to 16th street was perfect, and there were beautiful restaurants and a Trader Joe's within walking distance. We couldn't have asked for more and wish we could give beyond a five-star rating. The price for this type of lodging is unheard of.
